The Quran without doubt holds spiritual powers which are beyond the human’s comprehension. One can recite himself/herself. Shaykh’s philosophy is that a patient will have limited ability to carry out the tasks required to complete the treatment for obvious reasons.

 

The Quran possesses spiritual power like no other. Compare two people as an example. When an individual regularly utters Zikrullah over a period of time compared to one who doesn’t. The Zakir (regular reciter) will build some spirituality within oneself. Similarly when a Hafizul Quran regularly recites the Quran he will build a spiritual effect that when he recites in front of other listeners, the Quran will have a spiritual effect on them. Similarly the Shaykh has performed extensive recitation of the Quran and also there are certain verses and Surah’s in the Quran that Shaykh has extensively recited over the last 10 years. This has a very powerful effect on the patient. The effect is directly linked the words of Allah itself and always must be attributed to Allah (swt) who is the ultimate healer.
